Project challenge – Redesigning a new website to maximize sales potential and adding a backend e-commerce management tool to help the site owners managing their products, shipping, orders, customers and content. Phase one – Designing a new home page with clear and large marketing banners with lead links to top rated products. The new design allows easy navigation to new users and prompt access to the shopping cart view and order tracking. Phase two – Slicing the design and developing new features such as price alerts, product reviews, product spec and feature videos for each product. Final stage – Creating the checkout process to be user friendly and automated as possible with auto confirmation emails throughout the secure checkout process powered by GoDaddy SSL and First Data merchant solution.
